Massive Volcano erupts in Mexico - WLJ

The popocatepetl Volcano in Mexico has been erupted, throwing smoke, water vapour and gas into the air. The eruption has made an ash cloud that reaches to about 2,000 meters high, above the volcano's crater.

That is more than five times the height of the Empire State building in New York.

A huge crater is created on top of the volcano after the first eruption blew the top off. People neighboring had been given advice about how to protect themselves from the ash.

Did you know?
Did you know that there are more than 3,000 volcano's in Mexico, but only 14 are considered to be active.

Why do Volcano's erupt?
Volcano' erupt because of the density and pressure. The lower density of the magma relative to the surrounding rocks, causes it to rise(Like bubbles in syrup). It will rise to the surface or depth that is determined by the density of magma and the weight of the rocks. - Description from: Google. #Whydovolcano'serupt.
