Today, I will be blogging about my Pepeha.
What is a Pepeha?
A mihi is a greeting in a pepeha, that describes where you stand and where you were brought up. Either by land and the whanau you were growing up with.
A pepeha also includes a Mihi. And a Mihi is a greeting to everyone. E.g: Tena Koutou, He mihi nui ki a Koutou katoa. No Ngati Whatua me Nga Puhi toku iwi. Ko Constance Toku ingoa.
As you see, I have put in a greeting and something about me. Where I stand!
Something I found challenging about this worksheet was : Figuring out where I come from and what river or mountain represents me .
