Kia Ora, Malo, Talofa and many more greetings! Today for our "Whakatauki O Te Wiki" our teacher has chosen "Whatungarongaro te Tangata, Toitu te whenua". As man disappears from sight, the land will remain. I would say this quote as an inspiring one because it has a really big message in it and could be passed on to our next generations. I have learned lots from this whakatauki. My favourite part of this session was getting to know more about our land and how people fought, to save our whenua.
