Matiu left his dad. He stole Tama’s keys and drove off with his car. Although, if I was to be in Matiu’s shoes, I would agree to leave because it is better for him and the tiki bone to live. Furthermore, as a person, I think Mat(Matiu), is a great person himself and also has an amazing personality. Even if he left his dad.
