WALT: Identify skills to help us make new friends.
Kia ora, Malo, Talofa, Bula and many more greeting to you from me and my blog. I and my blog are going to welcome you back in a reflective description. To begin with,
in attitude program, we were learning about different kinds of friendships. Through this session with our talker, I noticed that lots of things are changing for me. I have realized this, because there are ways I make friendships. I am a true friend who lets my friends do what they want to do and I also accept what they would like to do in the future. In addition, my goal for this year 2k17, is to make my friendship go deeper and to challenge myself in making new friends. A true friend is someone who understands your past, believes your future, and accepts the you today of who you are. Making new friends isn't always easy, but it could be the best of the best. Although, the things that can ruin a friendship, is;
* Bullying
* Back stabbing - Talking behind someones back, not grabbing a knife and stabbing them in the back :p
* Mean humour
* Showing off
* Smothering.
These are the Friendship warnings. But as a true friend, these are what I believe they practice towards;
* Being friendly
* Being positive
* Remembering names
* Remembering special times
* Learn to listen
* Be YOURSELF.
Thankyou for listening to my reflection about the Friendship factory and I hoped you have enjoyed! You can make a good friend, not matter what!!

Kia ora, Talofa, Malo, Bula, and many more greetings to you all. Welcome back to my blog. Today, I was to work on investigating on Mandala art. The word Mandala has a meaning to it. The word Mandala comes from a sanskrit word that generally means circle.
Here is an e.g of my Mandala art I have created.
Room 10 have been learning about Mandala art. Mandala means circle in Tibetan, and used by some Buddhists as a means of meditation, calmness, and mindfulness.
To begin with, the word MANDALA has a meaning to it. The word Mandala comes from a Sanskrit word that usually means circle in Tibetan, Buddhist. Circle has been chosen for the word Mandala because it represents wholeness and universe. A diagram reminding us of a relation to infinity. - The state or a number greater than any assignable quantity. Also a symbol.
Mandala appears to us all in aspects; known as the Sun, Moon, Earth. Many Mandalas have a story behind it and could also help us relax as we let our minds free away. Mandala art is a strategy that can help us achieve stressness. Mandala is also an art that can be created by individuals to symbolize their journeys from life. Plus, it also reminds us of the deity of the gods. Furthermore, Mandalas are represented by a circular of figure representing the universe of Hindu and Buddhist symbolism.
In Conclusion, this is important because
For an example, here is the Mandala art that I created to represent my Family.
- The Circle’s that are coloured represents emotions we all have.
- The diamonds inside the terminator represents the life as a diamond up high in the sky.
- The squiggly lines stand for the mountains we all climb, to reach/achieve our goals.
- The arrows stand for the human life cycle.
- The plus’s stand for newborns rising their eyes open.
- The equals stand for the plus’s to grow bigger.
- The smiling faces stand for children awakening.
- The triangle stands for the outer and inner peace.
- And lastly, the love heart inside represents the palace of my family.
For more information, you can click on these links and it can take you to facts and images about Mandala art.
If you would like to create a Mandala, I know that there will be many materials around you. You can make Mandalas by using nature and indoor materials. When people make Mandalas, they have a story and a message behind each design they create.
You can use a cloth, stone, paper, and even walls to create a Mandala. The main point of this, is that creating a Mandala art can help you bring inner peace and could also help you relax as your mind frees away.

WALT: Challenge ourselves to 10 - 15 times table.
Kia Ora, Talofa, Malo and many greetings to you all. Welcome back to my blog. Today for maths, Cerenity and I had been challenging ourselves to the 15 times tables. As I would reflect on it, my partner and I said that this task was easy to work through and is wondering what could come next. We really hope we get a hard follow up task. Although, here is an example of our learning;
Halfway between 10 times the number and 20 times the number.
So 12 x 15 is (120 + 60) = 180.
Through this tasks, there was 15 times tables we filled up and it looked like this,
A. 4 x 15 = 60
B. 7 x 15 = 105
C. 13 x 15 = 195
D. 15 x 15 = 225
Here is a photo of my learning and I hope you enjoyed my reflection of my learning!
